The Challenge
Our sellers came to us after they were unable to sell the property with a different real estate agent. They were frustrated that their beautifully updated home hadn’t sold despite a gorgeous renovation and a significant price reduction. Given the time of year combined with its past unsuccessful history, this home needed an aggressive and innovative marketing plan in order to sell at the price it deserved.
Our Approach
We brought in one of the best designers in the city to advise on strategic upgrades and a new staging approach. Before going on the market, we decided to take a different approach. We marketed the property for sale as a private listing utilizing the exclusive “Compass Coming Soon” program to reach over 50% real estate agents in San Francisco. To bring even more awareness to the listing, we leveraged our Top Agent Network affiliation and extensive agent connections to find realtors who would bring qualified buyers.
The Result
The property received countless showings, multiple offers and successfully sold for: $400K above our listing price, over $400K above the previous listing agent’s asking price, over $1,300/sq. ft. higher than the neighborhood average around the time of the sale, and Quick close.
