Welcome to
Mission Terrace
Mission Terrace is a residential neighborhood located in the southern part of San Francisco, home to a diverse population. One of the defining features of Mission Terrace is its hillside location, which provides many homes with sweeping views of the city and the bay! Also the neighborhood offers easy access to 101, 280 and BART so it's a commuter's dream! Mission Terrace proper was San Francisco’s earliest planned neighborhood of affordable homes. And until 1911 it was strictly a farm area consisting of vegetable fields. Most of the original development, bounded by San Jose, Capistrano, and Santa Ynez Avenues, was developed by the end of the 1920s.
