Welcome to
Sea Cliff
Sea Cliff is considered one of the most exclusive and desirable neighborhoods in San Francisco, characterized by its spacious, multi-million dollar homes, many of which are architecturally significant and feature stunning landscaping, gardens and often sweeping views of the ocean and bay. The streets in Sea Cliff are quiet and lined with mature trees, creating a serene atmosphere that feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Francisco. The area was originally developed by the San Francisco Land Company in the late 1800s as a residential neighborhood for the city's wealthy elite. The company advertised Sea Cliff as "the Paris of the West," promoting its stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. In 1913 Sea Cliff was officially founded as one of San Francisco's eight master-planned residence parks, or "garden suburbs." These eight parks were part of a city-wide effort to create more livable neighborhoods with a focus on open space, landscaping, and architecture.
